Our beautiful Mexican or Key limes are organically grown.  While they start the season as green skinned, they turn a gorgeous deep orange towards the end of the season and can be mistaken for a mandarin.  

The Mexican or Key lime is naturally smaller than the Tahitian or 'Bears's' lime and has higher acidity and a stronger aroma, as well as a thinner rind.

They are more acidic and have a more intense, tangy taste – more 'limey' if you will. Some people describe the flavor of key limes as slightly sweet with a hint of bitterness. They also have a floral aroma that is more noticeable than regular limes.

Famously used in key lime pies.
