A shallot is not as sharp as standard onions, boasting soft, beautiful notes and a bit of sweetness, especially when cooked. Their milder quality makes them easier to eat than other onions, and their subtle flavour doesn't as easily overpower other flavours in a dish.
The fruit selection was ok but I did ask for a few tamarillos as I know they are in season but was disappointed none were included. Otherwise ok, prompt delivery
